The airspace in Germany is jammed. For air controllers the traffic is almost impossible to manage due to all the small aircraft. A new concept should be able to help by "pooling". Prof. Volker Gollnick, Director of the German Aerospace Center's Institute of Air Transportation Systems, talks about ways to improve air traffic management.
